Het OMA masterplan uit 1990 was aan een revisie toe.. Een uitbreiding van het shopping centrum en een betere verbinding met de Congrexpo dienden zich aan. De zone achter het shoppingcentrum en de ruimte voor het TGV station krijgt een meer stedelijk karakter en wordt opgeladen met winkels, casino en andere publieke functies.

The OMA Masterplan for Euralille needed a revision. We proposed to convert the J. Nouvel´s back facade of the shopping mall and station into an urban boulevard where casino, shops and the connection with the Congrexpo are located and also the extension of the park with new housing towards the complex.
